Tagaytay is a popular holiday destination for Filipinos due to its pleasant weather and picturesque landscape. However, you may not be aware that you can experience a European ambiance right here in the Philippines. We had the opportunity to feel this vibe at the Twin Lakes Hotel, one of the finest hotels in Tagaytay. The hotel’s European-inspired architecture and design allowed us to feel as though we had traveled to a different continent without having to endure a long journey.

My family and I had a pleasant overnight stay at Twin Lakes Hotel Tagaytay. We were able to avail of a special room rate of only P 4,500 per room using my Megaworld Corporation Club Access E voucher. I booked a total of three rooms, and was only charged a total of 13,500 pesos.

Spacious and elegant lobby: The hotel lobby impresses with its stylish and comfortable design. Its high ceiling is adorned with modern chandeliers that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The clean lines and muted tones add to the overall ambiance, while the vintage furniture and artwork exude sophistication.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lobby staff with warm smiles. The hotel’s front desk personnel, particularly Diether, were very helpful and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond by assisting me with my bookings and finding ways to optimize the use of my Club Access E Voucher.

Spacious Deluxe Rooms: This is a description of a 36 square meter room that is perfect for two adults and two kids. The room is elegantly furnished and comes with a flat screen LCD TV, tea/coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge. The room looks and smells clean and has balanced lighting. The beds are comfortable, and come with fine bedding. The sliding floor-to-ceiling glass window allows for a natural view, and when opened, the air conditioning automatically shuts down. I prefer to open the window to let the crisp, fresh air come into the room..

The attached bathroom: The bathroom is quite spacious and well-designed, boasting a bathtub and a separate shower cubicle. You’ll find a hairdryer at your disposal, as well as high-quality, pure white towels. Additionally, there are premium bathroom amenities provided for your personal hygiene needs, including bars of soap, shampoo, shower gels, aftershave lotions, and face and body lotions.

The stunning view at the veranda: The veranda is the highlight of the room as it offers a breathtaking view of Taal Volcano and the Vineyard Residences. It is equipped with a lounge table and a chair (make it two, please) for you and your loved ones to relax and witness the sunrise on a foggy morning.

Heated Pool: One of the many amenities that this hotel offers is a heated infinity pool that provides a stunning view of nature. The best part is that you won’t have to worry about chilly weather when you go for a swim here. The pool is open from 7AM until 10PM.

Fitness Center: One of the important amenities here is the Fitness Center with state-of-the-art gym facilities including treadmills and elliptical machines, exercise bikes, a power tower, a chest press, free weights, and gym ball. Open from 7AM until 9PM

Kids Playroom: Kids can also enjoy themselves safely in this area as they provided toys and other materials to let them entertained. Open from 8AM to 6PM

A shuttle service is available to take guests to Twin Lakes Shopping Village, which offers a range of dining options, coffee shops, a pasalubong center, and a grocery store.

Overall impression:

• Cleanliness: The hotel is spotless at every turn. No single trash was seen during our stay.
• Service: Smooth and quick service from the moment we arrived until we checked out.
• Ambiance: Luxurious, relaxing,
• Staff: The hotel staff are all courteous, friendly, and service oriented. They wear their uniform in a business manner and they all looked professional.
• Amenities: Impressive and enjoyable hotel amenities.
• Parking: Parking is not a problem here. The basement and ground floor parking is spacious enough to accommodate large number of cars.
• PWD-friendly: The Persons with disability room (PWD) is located on the ground floor of the hotel with spacious bathroom with railing support.

As of April 1, 2024, Twin Lakes Hotel will be collecting Tourism Ecological Fee from their in-house guests in compliance with the Laurel Batangas Ordinance No. 010 Series of 2023 Sec 7.1 Hotel Guests & Diners- P100, A discounted rate for P80 for Filipino Senior Citizen and Persons with Disability.
