As part of our tour across Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, we visited the 3 Mermaids Cafe in Pattaya, Thailand. I added this restaurant to our itinerary in December 2023 because I have a fondness for mermaids, and I thought it would be an interesting place to see. I discovered this restaurant while browsing social media posts about beautiful restaurants in Pattaya.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Unparalleled Beach Front Setting– The most captivating aspect of the cafe is undoubtedly its prime location, perched on a cliff that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean. Just imagine relishing a delicious meal with your loved ones while listening to the calming sound of the waves, which serves as the most beautiful background music in the restaurant. The mesmerizing view of the sky and the ocean is incredibly soothing, making patrons stay for a longer time.
3 Mermaids Cafe provides both indoor and outdoor dining areas, each with a breathtaking view of the ocean. On arrival, we decided to sit indoors due to the intense sunlight and to cool off in the air-conditioned dining room.
OUTDOOR DINING AREA- They offer a variety of seating options like a bird’s cage and picnic table, in addition to unobstructed views.
INDOOR DINING AREA- The place has a warm and inviting atmosphere with glass walls that stretch from the floor to the ceiling.
Culinary Journey-The menu board at the cafe offers a wonderful blend of international and Thai flavors. You can find fresh seafood dishes, classic European fare, and traditional Thai curries to satisfy your taste buds. Additionally, the cafe provides a variety of drinks, such as cocktails, fine wines, and teas, that you can enjoy with your meal.

- The cafe can get crowded, especially during peak season, It’s recommended to make reservations in advance, particularly if you are visiting with a group. If you have a tour coordinator, you can request them to make a reservation for your since they only reply in Thai language.
