I and my college friends, together with our families had a two-night stay at Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa where we got to celebrate some of my friends birthdays. It is our first time to meet again after avoiding a face to face get-together due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
The Resort
Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa is located along the shores of Nasugbu, a town in the province of Batangas that is known for its scenic coastline and rich history. The resort is about a 3-hour drive from Metro Manila, making it an ideal destination for weekend trips or short vacations.
Canyon Cove offers a clean, white-sand beach with cabanas for guests use. The beach is shallow and produces gentle waves which is why it is good for swimming. They also offer different water activities but are subject to weather condition. It has gorgeous sunset views allowing you to embrace the awe-inspiring wonders of nature.
The hotel has a lot of amenities, and one of the most popular is the infinity pool where adults can swimming while kids are enjoying at the shallow kiddie pool. The pool has a view of the beach and mountain that is the perfect for relaxation.
The Rooms
My family stayed at Superior Twin Room which is a 40 square meter area with 2 twin beds and a day bed, 32 inches cable TV, mini ref, working desk, vanity mirror, wardrobe closet, tea and coffee amenities. It has a spacious restroom, toiletries and clean towels are provided. The room is warm and cozy but a bit old and needs some fixing and renovation but it was clean and smells fresh during our stay. Take note that there is no WIFI in the room but there is an internet signal if you are connecting with your own mobile data. Free WIFI is available only in the hotel lobby area. The resort also provides daily housekeeping and evening turndown services to ensure your comfort and convenience.
The room has a private balcony with a breathtaking view of the beach, and the sound of the gentle breeze creates a calming atmosphere.
The hotel also has a restaurant that offers American, Filipino and Asian Cuisines. and the food is said to be very good. Our accommodation include a complimentary breakfast buffet for two.
If you are looking for a place to relax and escape the noise of the city, then Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa is the perfect place for you. The hotel offers a serene and quiet atmosphere, and it has a lot of amenities that will make your stay very enjoyable.
The Experience
We enjoyed our stay at Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa for two nights with my family and friends. All the staff are very courteous, accommodating and friendly from the time we arrived until we checked out.
We spent most of our time at the beach, where we enjoyed swimming, chit chatting about everyone’s life experiences, and playing with the sand. The water was clear and calm, and the sand was soft and white. There were also lifeguards on duty who ensured our safety. The beach was not crowded, so we had enough space to relax and have fun.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa. It was a relaxing and enjoyable getaway that we will always remember. We highly recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the beauty of nature.
