Where To Eat In Batangas? Try Lucia’s Cafe Lipa

Of course, the food and ambiance are the two things to consider when choosing a restaurant to eat when we go out. That is why I constantly research the place and look for exciting restaurants to get that extraordinary dining experience wherever I go. Thanks to these travel app tools like Tripadvisor and Google Maps reviews for allowing us to read recommendations from customers who share their personal experience

My family and I visited Lucia’s Cafe after we attended the 9 AM Sunday holy mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. We planned to have brunch at Lucia’s Cafe since it is approximately a 30-minute drive from the church and is along the main road based on the Google Maps driving app.

Lucia’s Cafe Lipa

Lucia’s Cafe is strategically located on Balete Road, Brgy. Marawoy, Lipa City, Batangas. Its operating hours are from 9 AM to 10 PM daily. It is a casual dining restaurant that offers Italian favorites like pizza, pasta, and many more.

It is a farmhouse-themed cafe with lovely arrangements and furnishings. This two floors cafe has a spacious, attractive garden which is also used for alfresco dining.

The indoor dining area is not airconditioned, but with a big ceiling fan, and the wide open doors and windows bring in natural air and sunlight. The ground-floor dining area has limited capacity, with only four tables, while the second floor is more spacious than the first floor. The place has a welcoming and cozy ambiance with relaxing background music playing.

The garden-style seating option has a leisurely relaxing vibe, sheltered by umbrellas providing enough shade for the sun. The gorgeous landscape, rustic metal table sets, and the fairy light bulb are the cafe’s something to brag about. The area is fenced by greens bringing an image of freshness and tranquility and is perfect as a venue for weddings and milestone celebrations.

The wooden elements, natural plants, and even the checkered table runners and woven placemats provide a rustic charm in the dining area.

About the food: They offer Italian, American, and Filipino dishes, but with limited choices. We tried some of their dishes like Pan-seared Salmon, Four-cheese Pizza, Truffle Mac n Cheese, Beef Tapa with Garlic Rice, and Boneless Bangus. Most of the food on the menu is suitable for single servings only. The restaurant has a creative food presentation using high-quality tableware.

Pan-seared Salmon P 312 A thick slice of Salmon served with mashed potato, grilled vegetables, sliced lemon, and capers dipping sauce. The pan-seared Salmon is crispy outside yet juicy on the inside, while the roughly mashed potato is perfectly cooked and tasty. The grilled vegetables and Salmon went well with the capers dip.

Truffle Mac and Cheese P 285 This baked pasta has a flavorful taste with a splash of truffle oil and is topped with bacon bits and greens, and served with a slice of toasted bread.

Four Cheese Pizza P 330 This light, thin, and crispy pizza crust was freshly baked with generous four kinds of cheeses toppings including Mozzarella cheese. This pizza is super delicious and is not boring to eat.

Boneless Bangus P 235 This all-day Filipino breakfast menu is served with garlic rice, sunny-side-up eggs, slices of tomato, and cucumber. The pan-fried Bangus is still juicy and not dry and is well-marinated.

Beef Tapa P 235 is another favorite all-day Filipino breakfast on the menu served with garlic rice, sunny-side-up eggs, slices of tomato, and cucumber. The meat slices are fork-tender, juicy, and have a classic taste.
