Lucban Quezon Getaway: Batis Aramin Resort & Hotel

Batis Armin Hotel and Resort

It is a nature park situated at the foot of Mt. Banahaw, so expect a cooler breeze, especially at night. It also offers an unobstructed view of the mountain, making it a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The vast resort is 2.5 hectares with lush greens, swimming pools, several cottages & villas, recreational areas, a sports center, and an adventure camp.

I always wanted to attend a healing mass at the Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban Quezon, but I thought it was far, an approximately four-hour drive from our place in Bacoor. I don’t want my husband to get tired from driving, so I thought of staying for a while after visiting some tourist attractions in Lucban. I made a reservation via Batis Aramin Resort Facebook account by sending a message through their messenger account, and they were very responsive. I booked a standard double room for the price of P 5,000 per night, suitable for four to five persons, with breakfast, included.

Right across the Kamay ni Hesus Church, we go straight to the private road with the Batis Aramin Resort signage near the pasalubong centers. We continue until we reach the guard house, the entrance of the hotel. The resort address is Barangay Malupak, Lucban, Quezon, Philippines.

The Reception Area and Front Desk

The open-air reception area features a simple, natural decoration that promotes serenity. There were some guests in the queue when we arrived, and after waiting for about 15 minutes, I was assisted by the reception staff, who explained the hotel’s policies, then gave me the resort’s map and room key afterward. The front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. There are welcome drinks in the check-in lounge and a strong connection of WIFI access. Check-in time is 2 PM, while check-out will be noon.

THINGS TO BE EXPECTED AT BATIS ARAMIN RESORTS AND HOTEL

OUR ROOM ACCOMMODATION:

The room is clean and comfy, with two double-sized beds, an air conditioning unit, wall-mounted television with cable, and a coffee-making facility. The bathroom is clean with a hot shower and hair blower. The resort provided clean and fresh-smelling bath towels, a Covid-19 Sanitary kit, toiletries, and purified drinking water. Note that they do not give bedroom slippers, so bring your own. Furthermore, the shower faucet has no thermostatic bath mixer., which is why it is either hot or cold water that will come out of the tap, giving an uncomfortable shower experience.

The toiletries kit is in a cute native bag

RESORT’S AMENITIES:

Outdoor pool

The resort offers seven swimming pools, four of which are for in-house and day trippers, such as the infinity pool, kiddie pool, Piknikan pool, and Banahaw pool, while the other three are for the exclusive use of the in-house guests of Pavilion, Hilltop, and Fidez House. The resort’s water source comes from the spring, which is why the swimming pool has spring-cold water.

Teresitas Garden

Teresita’s Garden is part of the resort’s attraction. It has wide, lush greenery, sight. The place is absolutely relaxing as it is surrounded by tall trees and flowering plants, with a view of Mt. Banahaw.

Hobbit Houses: This scenic spot has the Lord of the Rings-inspired houses and will make you feel like you are in New Zealand, the movie location of The Lord of the Rings. This unique attraction is for photo ops only and is not yet available for overnight stays as of our visit.

The resort has an expansive flower farm with garden accents that are Instagram-worthy, like the old VW Beetle Car flower planter, bicycle planter, heart-shaped flower arc, and other garden accessories which are perfect for your social media post.

Aside from the beautiful assorted flowers, there are also pretty pastel-colored houses that are pleasant to the eyes and also great for photo ops.

Adventure Camp This open field area is ideal for Team Building activities like an obstacle course, wall climbing, rope course, and a zip line.

The resort has Grand Hall, near the entrance gate where we had our complimentary breakfast buffet. The buffet food list includes porridge, garlic rice, Lucban Longganisa (a famous local sausage), pork luncheon meat, eggs, a variety of bread with jam or butter, brewed coffee, and seasonal fruits. The porridge is flavorful, while the Longganisa has a deliciously garlicky taste.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable experience at this resort. Every staff I encountered was courteous, friendly, and accommodating. I complained about the first room assigned to us because I felt something off in the room, probably the smell or the ambiance. I requested a room change, and we immediately transferred to a new accommodation at the pavilion.
