Lunch Buffet Experience at the Veranda, Taal Vista Hotel.

Taal Vista Hotel the oldest, and one of the famous hotels in Tagaytay City in Cavite Province. It houses two restaurants, The Veranda and Taza Fresh Table. Both restaurant provide an overlooking view of the Taal Lake.

Veranda restaurant offers a continental and Filipino dishes with the option of buffet eat-all-you-can or ala carte. The restaurant is spacious which can accommodate large number of guests that is perfect for family gatherings or big group. the place well lighted, has elegant interiors, and tile floorings provide a rustic look.

The food on the buffet table was not overwhelming yet sumptuous and satisfying. Included in the menu are the all time favorite Filipino dishes like Pinakbet, Adobo sa dilaw, Kare-kare to name a few. Grill all you want with pork and chicken meat, squid and shrimp.

There are a variety of freshly baked breads and spreads available at the bread station. There is Tagaytay garden fresh vegetables topped with your choice of dressing for a healthier option . For the dessert, there are plenty to choose from cakes & pastries to fresh fruits in season, crepes or you can create your own halo-halo. There are also Filipino kakanin like Bibingka, Puto bumbong, Biko, puto, sapin sapin and cassava cake.

The restaurant provided entertainment to the guests and what a beautiful way of showing Filipino Culture by the performances of Bughaw Folkloric Dance Group.

The hotel has an inhouse singers who will serenade the guests, especially those who are celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.

After our lunch buffet, we wander around the hotel to relax a bit. The viewing deck offers a scenic view of the Taal Lake, aside from the expansive beautiful landscape.

There is always a photo opportunity in this place like getting a snap at the giant photo frame with Taal Lake view as the backdrop.

Thing to remember before going to the restaurant:

  • Drinks are not included except tea & coffee
  • Request for a seat on the left side if you want to enjoy the Folk Dance performances.
  • Check out promos and discounts for SM Advantage card holders.
  • You can stay at the restaurant for three hours so, enjoy the food.
